Mola-mola Ctc Proposes In Nusa Penida Protected Fish Category

Beritabali.com, Denpasar. Ecosystem sustainability watchdog Coral Coral Triangle Center (CTC) propose to the government of Indonesia to enter the Mola-mola fish as one of the protected fish.
Includes list of marine fishes in this entry in the list of endangered and protected animals (Cites).
CTC Area Management Manager stated it was time Marthen Welly sunfish are protected because the population is more limited, although the ecosystem of sunfish are found in almost all marine tropical waters. Moreover, the current population of sunfish can only be detected in the waters of Bali Nusa Penida Island.
"But whose occurrence can be predicted and the location where each year there are only in Bali in Nusa Penida Islands, so at the seasons divers around the world come to Bali to see sunfish," said Marthen Welly.
Marthen Welly said the emergence of sunfish in Nusa Penida waters found in the 5 point dive. But unfortunately the appearance of fish with an average length of 2 meters can only be seen in July through September. (mlt)
