Pura Puncak Mundi

Pura Puncak Mundi is located in Rata, Klumpu Village, Nusa Penida. Exactly location of this temple is located in top of Mundi Mount. Sacred ceremony in this temple is comes once every 210 days, namely on Umanis Anggarakasih Prangbakat. Worship process in this temple is done for 3 times. The first whorship is done at Beji temple and then Kerangkeng Temple and Puncak Mundi Temple. The time required to reach the temple is about 45 minutes from Nusa Penida Harbour.

 

To go to this temple can do by using the car or motorcycle that you can rent or charter in the near from Nusa Penida Port. The interesting thing in the Temple are located above the mountain that allows us to see the islands of Nusa Penida overall. In addition, there are many monkeys in this temple. Sometimes, Here also perform Barong and Keris Dance when sacred ceremony is held.
